Our Staff

The Lord led Pastor Ruben Garcia to Cornerstone Baptist Church in March 2014, where he faithfully serves as Pastor. Before coming to Cornerstone, Pastor Garcia served on staff as an Assistant Pastor at Treasure Valley Baptist Church in Meridian, Idaho.
He graduated from Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College in 1981 with a degree in Pastoral Theology. In May of that same year, he married his wife, Sharon. Together, they have been blessed with four married children and twelve grandchildren. Sharon serves as the church secretary.
Pastor Garcia’s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 3:20:
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”

The Lord called Ayden Watkins to Cornerstone Baptist Church in June 2024 to serve as an intern. Upon completing his two-year internship, the Lord continued to lead him to serve at Cornerstone, where he now serves as Assistant Pastor.
Ayden graduated from Treasure Valley Baptist Bible Institute in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Divinity Degree.
Ayden’s favorite Bible verse is 1 John 4:4:
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
